What are the types of figures? A closed figure begins and ends at the same end point. An open figure has ends that do not meet.

What is a polygon? A polygon is a closed plane figure with straight sides that are line segments. A circle is an example of a plane figure that has no straight sides. A circle is not a polygon because it has no straight sides. polygon not a polygon
