We use functional documents all the time. software instructions ATM prompts technical directions instruction manuals voic systems What are the consequences of poorly written documents?

Functional documents have to make sense. WHY? Evaluating Informational Texts

1.Shut down your computer. 2.Unplug the cable modem. 3.Turn on the wireless system. 4.Restart your computer. In writing or evaluating functional documents, remember that logical sequencing means that... the steps appear in the correct order. all the steps are included. [End of Section]

Directions are hard to follow if a critical step is left out. (Meaning?)
