What are Sensory Words? DO NOW What does Sensory Mean? Please copy down these questions and answer them as best as you can. This will be collected at the end of class!! Just try your best!! What are Sensory Words? What does Sensory Mean? What are the 5 Senses? Name 1 sensory word for each of the senses. Write a sentence to describe the picture. 

Write down what sensory word is shown in each sentence: The spilt milk around the dumpsters on garbage day is rancid. Today the air has a balmy imprint. The red of the roses was so aggressively vivid that it almost hurt to look at them. The strawberries were so luscious that I was led to believe they were just picked. “Can I go outside now!”, shrieked the little boy.

Individual Work Copy This: (Sight) (Sound) (Touch) (Smell) (Taste) Write a sentence for each sense. Write anything you want, however it must have a sensory word in each sentence!

Sentence Rewriting… THE END!!! Please do your best and rewrite the sentences in the next activity. Remember to choose words that add to the flavor and feeling of your writing. The goal is to make an impact with sensory language! THE END!!!
