Idea: It is at a nascent stage where it is a thought with substantial research material or a design Prototype: Your idea has taken shape into a prototype/ model of your innovation Established: Your submission has evolved into an establishment that you’ve set up and the public is already aware of it Scaling: The innovation submitted has been well accepted amongst people around you and are you are now in the advance stage of scaling up your innovation to the masses Idea PrototypeEstablishedScaling

Chosen Industry: App Market Chosen Technologies: Software Development Objective: The main objective of this idea is to break the language barrier between the people due to various languages present in different countries and also various regional languages present in our country and also to bring the people of different regions closer to each other and to give better understanding of their region culture by means of of our app. Approach: The concept for designing such an app is based on the problems faced by the moving population mainly because of job opportunities in various cities across the country, also in different countries and their problem in adjusting to the new environment because of the language barrier, thus creating a void with the locals. The Innovation: This innovative lingo concept aims to simplify and assist in with the day to day problem dealt by the people of different regions of the country settling in different parts of the country where they feel alienated just because of their lack of knowledge of the local language.

With the advent of IT industries flourishing in cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai we have a large number of moving population from different regions of the country and also in foreign countries like China and Japan, whose dialect are very much different and very difficult to learn. Therefore we came up with the idea of such an app with two major reasons : 1) A lingo translator app will help this moving population to communicate with the locals in their local languages thus bringing them closer to the local population of that region. 2) This type of app also encourages one to learn a new language in a fun- way to do it. As you can record your voice in your known language and get to know it what the dialect is. Now we are about to undertake this project which is a perfect blend of the cultural heritage of this country with the modern day technology.

In current scenario the major problem is faced by person not at their workplaces but at the public places. But because of high density of local population, interaction is difficult especially with the uneducated lot as hey only know to communicate in their local language or while commuting in an auto or taxi they face the problem of communicating with the auto or taxi drivers. Same problem persist if you visit any other country with their primary language not being english So, through this app we intend to provide assistance to such people by the means of software solution, where you could answer to this query with just a touch from their smartphones or tablets.

While a considerable chunk of this idea is already being developed across the world, we believe not much has been done in India for the same. In that respect, we would like to propose the following : 1) Well since there is no end to a research work on a new area of development, there won’t be a set timeline for the same. Although since some of the countries are already in the development stage of different stages required to run the app, learning from their development and sharing ideas would certainly help in reducing time needed to research in addition to saving a lot of money. Also because of such developments we just need to set the different pieces of the puzzle in the right way. 2) The only potential challenge we foresee in this program is the algorithm which translates the voice from one language to another. Persons with the best of knowledge and a knack to innovate can only be the ones who work together in developing this technology. And once this problem is solved, designing such an app would be a cake walk. 3) Since its in a nascent stage, it would require a lot of financial support. 4) It is yet to be seen how things like these pan out in in a country like India.

Competitive innovation that are in the area we are presenting:- 1) This idea is one of its kind and currently there is no competition present in the market. 2). This would take our regional languages to a different level and make them global and thus also help in conserving them. 3)This could lead to a landmark research in the field of voice recognition and translation. Sources of guidance I received to develop the innovation to be mentioned. 1)college Professors 2) Internet If it is applied and found to be unique than surely we will file a patent for the innovation.
