Czech-American Cooperation in Education: - International Credit Mobility - Study in the Czech Republic Centre for International Cooperation in Education (DZS) 20th April 2016

Centre for International Cooperation in Education (DZS) responsible for administration of various European educational programmes and other international activities in the field of education (Erasmus+ Programme, Study in the Czech Republic initiative etc.)

International Credit Mobility (ICM)

International Credit Mobility: Activities supported Mobilities of individuals between Programme and Partner Countries All levels, all disciplines Student mobility: A study period abroad at a partner HEI From 3 months (or academic term) to 12 months Staff mobility: Teaching periods Training periods From 5 days to 2 months

How to apply for ICM? Who can apply? Only HEI established in a Programme Country and awarded with ECHE Where to apply? To the National Agency of the country in which the applicant organisation is established Duration of project? 16 or 24 months

International Credit Mobility: Mobility project European HEIs apply on behalf of the partnership to their National Agency European HEI (applicant) manages the budget Budget = Organisational Support Living Allowance Travel

International Credit Mobility: Budget Czech Republic: Student Unit Costs Incoming students: 800 EUR/month Outgoing students: 650 EUR/month Staff Unit Costs Incoming staff: 140 EUR/day Outgoing staff: 160 EUR/day Travel: according to the Distance band (from 180 to EUR)

Study in the Czech Republic our initiative since 2004 focused on the promotion of Czech Higher Education abroad financially supported by the Ministry of Education Aims:  to introduce the offer of Higher Education in the Czech Republic to foreign students and partners  to support Czech Higher Education institutions in their international activities
