Note To You Before you begin this lesson, you need to know that there is a lot of work involved. In order to successfully pass this test, you will be required to complete a study guide as well as write many notes. You will also need to “Pay Attention” to what you are doing and the questions that are being asked of you in each problem. Remember, you have the know how to pass the SOL writing test successfully!

Warm Up: Review

Objectives Today’s Lesson Covers The Writing Process Review and The End Of Course Writing Test

SOL Objectives: 11.7f adapt content, vocabulary, voice, and tone to audience and purpose 11g Revise writing for accurate and depth information 11.3a recognize major literary forms and their elements 11.7f Apply grammatical conventions to edit writing for correct usage of language, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.

Now that you know some of the test question words, complete five practice writing tests. When you have finished with the test, show your teacher your score. These assignments will prepare you for the writing test. Seriously take your time to do these. Remember, you can do it!
