What is a job? A job is something you do for a paycheck. What is a career? A succession of related jobs you do as your life work and passion.

 In the fashion industry there are careers working in almost every department that you might find in any traditional business. Accountants, Sales, Marketing, Research, Public Relations, Advertising and so on.  However, the overall industry is broken down into three main categories and the rest of the jobs as seen above, fall within some or all of them

Textiles Deals with fibers, yarns, dyes, finishes and methods of fabric production. Production The designing and making of garments Merchandising Promoting and selling new fashions
