EVAPORATION Heat from the sun causes some water to vaporize. AQUIFER

EVAPORATION The vapor rises and collects to form clouds. EVAPORATION AQUIFER

CONDENSATION When the water vapor in the clouds begins to cool, it turns back into a liquid form. AQUIFER

The evaporation and condensation processes continue until… EVAPORATION AND CONDENSATION AQUIFER

PRECIPITATION Clouds become so heavy with water that rain begins to fall. AQUIFER

PRECIPITATION Eventually it stops raining since the excess water from the clouds has been released. AQUIFER

RUNOFF The rain water then flows into canals, lakes, and the ocean. This is called runoff. AQUIFER

PERCOLATION Some of the water percolates (seeps) into the ground to recharge our aquifer. AQUIFER

EVAPORATION CONDENSATION PRECIPITATION PERCOLATION AND RUNOFF
