Housing (Scotland) Bill Regulation of Letting Agents Currently anyone can set up as a letting agent! Must be a ‘fit and proper person’ National scheme of registration for letting agents Statutory code of practice

Housing (Scotland) Bill Third Party Reporting to Private Rented Housing Panel Currently can only take referrals from tenants Local authorities to be allowed to make referrals Neighbours, Fire and Rescue Service and any other body with an interest in the property can raise their concerns with the local authority
