Develop and broaden the integration of all kinds of resources used by museums/other heritage domains Focus on terminologies, semantic and multilingual tools Work in close cooperation with WP3, WP5 and WP7 Work supporting integration of resources into Europeana Capitalize on the work done by the “Interoperability Expert group”(EC) on standards / other European projects OVERALL OBJECTIVE

Explore the current practices in the field of terminologies adopted by European museums Guarantee the semantic interoperability of these terminologies with Europeana  Use a cross-domain approach Identify the multilingual issues: survey and integration of existing multilingual tools  Focus on the current achievements for integration of resources : existing tools, existing multilingual thesauri Ensure alignment between museums terminologies –thesauri – Athena SKOS thesaurus  Recommendations and guidelines for mapping and “SKOSify” existing multilingual resources; input for the WP7 GOALS

Terminology and Multilingualism: What is the situation concerning mutilingualism and terminology resources at national level? What are the lacks or specific points you would like to focus on in the framework of this working group? Who can you appoint as an expert of the terminology group? Roundtable
