EC² The Collaboration is an effort by the Cities, County, Chambers and Special Districts in East Contra Costa. Cities- Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, Byron, Knightsen Contra Costa County- Chambers of Commerce Iron House Sanitary District, Delta Diablo Sanitation District, Contra Costa Water District, Contra Costa County Air Port Workforce Development Board East Bay Leadership Council

Mission Statement In order to create economic vitality and jobs for our residents, EC² resolves to support regional approaches and opportunities that leverage existing industry strengths and support regional partnerships and collaborations that capitalize on underutilized resources and assets to enhance the region.

Goal and Objective of EC²: The Collaborative Create an environment for positive Regional Collaboration. Create enthusiasm and passion for the Mission Compile a comprehensive prioritized list of 10 future outcome measures of change. Identify Target Regional Cluster options. Develop the foundation for a strategy to support the growth and vitality of East Contra Costa.

Resolution to Support Regional Economic Development A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the city of _________________, recognizing and supporting a regional approach to economic development as an essential strategy to supporting economic vitality and creating jobs for our residents. WHEREAS, the city of _______________ is an integral part of a sub-regional economy and community in East Contra Costa wherein job creation and economic development will benefit all communities in East Contra Costa County and WHEREAS we understand that by working regionally we can better link, align, and leverage existing economic strengths and support vibrant industry clusters creating the jobs of today and tomorrow and WHEREAS, we recognize the need to more effectively capitalize on underutilized resources and assets and WHEREAS, we wish to promote partnerships among fellow stakeholders and jurisdictions in the East Contra Costa region: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF__________ : In order to create economic vitality and jobs for our residents, the City of ___________ resolves to support regional approaches and opportunities that leverage existing industry strengths and support regional partnerships and collaborations that capitalize on underutilized resources and assets to enhance the region.
