Products they are forced to make -Toys -Bricks -Textiles -Artificial flowers -Garments -Fireworks -Cotton -Footwear -Coal -Nails -Christmas decorations - Electronics

When do we use these products? Toys: You have a few. Bricks: Your house is made of them. Textiles: Its your carpet, curtains, and blankets. Artificial flowers: Your mom might have some. Garments: You wear clothes don’t you? Fireworks: Ever been to Canada Day? Cotton: What do you clean your ears with? Footwear: Keep your feet warm. Coal: It heats your house. Nails: keeps your home in one piece. Christmas decorations: They look nice on a tree. Electronics: Do you watch TV? Or have an IPod? Or a phone?

Why they are forced to make these products These kids are forced to make these products because their family's are so poor that they can’t afford enough food for their family if their children didn’t work. The children make Chinese Yuan a day. With this money the family could buy 3 boiled chicken feet, a large bowl of pig soup, 3 apples, and a small carton of milk. Since the children work the family has more food to eat and they are less likely to go hungry.

What can you do to help stop child Labour? Check before you buy. Figure out if the product that you are buying is made with child labour. If it is, find another product. If their website says that they are anti-child labour, its probably safe to buy.
