Committee’s key recommendations: Communicate, Communicate, Communicate Share proven methods/tools via WAPTAC Revisit Ramp Up Guidance, Procurement Primer, Legislation (OMB Circulars and Part 600, Davis-Bacon Act)

Suggested Changes to the Statute: Increase eligibility threshold Increase average cost per home allowance Increase % of training dollars available Change re-weatherization date Include additional “repair” measures Raise the administrative % allowed Vehicle/equipment ramp up purchases (outside cost per home average)

Explore Partnerships for: Training Activities Interagency Agreements with other Federal Agencies (to allow easier partnering at the state/local level) Bulk purchasing possibilities
