8 Document 2.4 (cont) RA Presidents Meeting Diversity in the structures and working mechanisms of RAs  Some RAs stressed flexibility in development of subsidiary groups  to better focus available funding on priority activities of the region  Other RAs stressed comprehensive approach and established fixed working groups  reflect the ERs of the WMO Strategic Plan and more stable program linkages  Noted different Regional situations /priorities  Recognized need for focal points: link to program activities  Expressed interest in WG-SOP discussion reforms regarding the role of TCs and RAs
