Záměrem této sady výukových materiálů s názvem Technical English je ukázat žákům, kteří se v této oblasti vzdělávají, jaký byl vývoj zbraní. Jednotlivé DUMy (prezentace) v této sadě popíší postupně tematické oblasti, které jsou probírány v předmětu Anglický jazyk na naší SŠ. Konkrétně je tato prezentace zaměřena na konstrukci zbraní. 2

Firearm is composed of the following parts: a barrel, a breech, a trigger mechanism, a percussion mechanism, a insurence mechanism, a gun-stock. 7

Barrel is an essential part of the gun. Barrel consists of three parts : a cartridge closet, a transition cone, a bore. 8

The breech is a component that closes the barrel when is fired. The trigger mechanism releases the percussion mechanism. The percussion mechanism fires bullets. The insurence mechanism prevents an accidental firing. The gun-stock is used for grasping of the gun. 9

The barrel is produced in three ways: a conventional drilling of solid material and reaming, a forging materials, a cold forging. The rifle barrel grooves with classical chipboard method. 10

Production shotgun mainly consists of the following operations: front alignment bars for a set length, drilling rods, reaming bore coarsely, turning mainly on the surface coarsely, 11

turning on the clean surface, reaming bore to clean, sanding, honing bore, surface sharpening barrel, chokes barrel, surface sharpening barrel. 12

Strength depends mainly on the: wall thickness, mechanical properties of the material, amount of pressure dust emissions. 13

Guns use gas pressure at the end of the constructing in various versions. Guns are: unlocked, semi-locked, locked with a short movement barrel, locked with a long movement barrel. 14

Unlocked guns have got only closed breech. Semi-locked guns are rarely used. Locked guns with a short movement barrel are not use for hunting. Locked guns with a long movement barrel are used for self- loading shotguns. 15

Percussion mechanism consists of : firing, striker, sear. Percussion mechanism placed on one base is called a lock. 16

The trigger mechanism releases the taut drum gear when shot. The trigger mechanism releases the drum trigger, either directly or indirectly through claw trigger lever. The size is given by the trigger spring force. An insurance system prevents a spontaneous or an accidental discharge. 17

Hunting guns must have a stall security protection against fire. The security and protection of such a component organization of the intestinal tract guns that provide the desired function. The fuse is a component providing protective activity. 18
