Welcome to England  The mainland of England consists of the central and the southern part of the island of Great Britain. The capital of England- London.

Symbols of England  The three national symbols of England are the St. Georges cross (usually seen as the flag), the red rose and the Three Lions crest.

 London’s double deck(двухэтажный) red buses are world famous. You must buy a ticket before boarding the buses in London. There are ticket machines at most bus stop.

 Post boxes located outdoors are designed to keep mail secure(надёжно) and protect from weather. The red telephone box can still(до сих пор) be seen in many places. The red color was chosen to make them easy to spot.(находить)

 As a constitutional monarch, the Queen does not «rule» the country, but fulfils(выполнять) important ceremonial and formal roles. The official birthday of the Queen Elizabeth II is marked (отмечать) each year by a military(военный) parade and march- past, knows as Trooping the Color (Carrying of the Flag)

 Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch located in the city of Westminster. Buckingham Palace's 19 state rooms are open to visitors during August and September.

Canada is one of the beautiful places in the world. Canada has clean streets and green parks and views of Pacific Ocean.. There are three the most beautiful and popular cities in Canada: Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal.

The people in Canada speak French and English. They like to play hockey and other different sports games. They are devoting (посвящать) many festivals to nature.

Vancouver is an ideal city. One of its main attractions (достопримечатель ностей) is Stanley Park, where there are sandy beaches, lakes, and even Indian totem poles. In 2009 the Winter Olympiad was in this city.

Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, is a wonderful mixture of old and new buildings. This green city is a culture and historical centre for Canada. Inside you can see over 25,000 of the world’s most treasure (сокровище) works of art.

Montreal is sometimes called the Paris of North America. The area of Old Montreal is very popular with tourists because of its narrow streets, old buildings and European-style cafes and restaurants.

The main attraction of this city is a big spider. In Montreal there are over 22,000 plants and flowers in the Botanical Garden from all over the world.
