3 Structure of the WASH Cluster in HAITI (2) Frequency : bi-weekly meeting => weekly meeting (only in Port-Au-Prince) Location: Not in Log base with all the other cluster but in Dinepa, Pétionville Hold in French UNICEF Logistic and HR support to DINEPA 2 technical working groups: o Sanitation o Hygiene Promotion

6 Support from the log cluster to ACF(1) Immediate response  Inter-Agency stock o Used as a buffer stock for ACF  Panama Regional Stock mobilized and first arrived on ground o Problem of identification: who owns what ?  Transport organized rapidly

7 Immediate response:  Wash cluster partners used their own logistic capacities…  Limited inter-cluster coordination Nonetheless,  Custom clearance in Dominican Republic issue  Stock in log base: update, forecast not clear Support f. the log cluster to the Wash cluster

8 Mid and long term strategy:  Sanitation program: o Truck fleet management and monitoring  Water program: o Plan: Water trucking in Pap last till mid July 2010  Contingency plan? E-prep? Support f. the log cluster to the Wash cluster
