Work to date Vacuum and pipework –Manufacture and install new vacuum line –Install new transfer line, inc modification of mating panel on enclosure –Return turbo pumps to manufacturer for servicing –Fix leaking vacuum relief circuit Remove temporary check valve Remove high-flow relief valve and blank off port Make burst disc assembly leak tight –Replace Cu gaskets in external pipework with Ag-coated Ni Instrumentation –Replace hydride bed regulator with a new regulator body with an upstream gauge port –Move PG7 pressure gauge to new regulator port –Look at inserting a reverse-direction flow meter somewhere –Replace broken He supply regulator dial gauge –Insert isolation valves upstream of all vacuum gauges 5 Hydride bed and heater-chiller –Replace cracked rubber hoses with plastic tubing –Re-route coolant pipework to above mezzanine –Insert a tee and drain valve into coolant pipework –Install an expansion tank into coolant circuit (stock component) –Purchase more glycol coolant (at least 20l) –Reinstall aux chiller circuit –Remove water filter from aux chiller circuit Ventilation system –Move charging station to west end of south mezzanine and modify ventilation ducting accordingly –Re-route charging line to within the ventilation ducting General infrastructure –Modify south mezzanine unistrut to accommodate PRY –Modify LH2 system panels to improve visibility inside –Seal pipework feedthrough on ceiling of gas panel –Reinstate gas bottle platform
