Unit 7.2_Lesson 1_CD Resource 1a_Types of information presentationImages © Getty Images Barking mad! A man who was fed up with his neighbour’s dog barking decided to get his own back by inventing his very own computerised barking pet! The man from Soesterberg in Holland, explained, "It was day in, day out – the same annoying barking." After several months of complaining and no improvement, he decided to take things into his own hands. He recorded barking noises from the internet, sampled them, put them into another frequency and played them loudly through an amplifier. The neighbour immediately called the police, who entered the man's house and pulled the plug on the barking computer. Barking mad!
