Tradition clothes in England.

England is a country with many ethnic traditions. They are followed from generation to generation. However, England hasn’t its specific national suit. But people of different professions have certain styles of clothing.

For example, farmers often wear felt hats. Dockers in ports put on tie motley kerchiefs on their necks. In business quarters it is possible even to see clerks who follow the old traditions. Trousers with stripes, a jacket, a high white collar, a hat in the form of a kettle on the head, a black umbrella in hands are their tradition. Lawyers and judges during the process put on cloaks and medieval wigs. In some schools special clothing is adopted. At the oldest English universities the professors and students wear black cloaks with red linings and quadrangular hats of black colour.

And also there are specific clothes in different subcultures. They follow a certain style of England. There are some of them : Grunge, Punk, Glam rock, Hipster, Hippy, Emo, Got, Chik, Gansta, Dandy Flapper, Teddy Boy.

Teddy Boy. Teddy Boy is youth subculture that was born in 1950-ies in England. It consists of young people to care intensely about what they looked like. Their style of clothing is drape jackets, usually in dark shades, sometimes with a velvet trim collar and pocket flaps. There are high- waist "drainpipe" trousers, often exposing the socks in their style.

Favourite footwear includes highly polished Oxfords, chunky Brogues, Eaton Clubman's and Crepe-soled shoes, often suede. The outfit also includes a high- necked loose collar on a white shirt. “Teddy boys” also like a narrow "Slim Jim" tie or western "Maverick" tie.

These people wear skinny jeans or colorful leggings. In their style they have growing bangs, they wear large spectacles without diopters and T-shirts of old rock groups. In the pocket of hipsters you will find a moleskin and in their hands- a film camera.

They flout conventional hip-hop fashions, eschewing baggy clothes and gold chains for tight jeans, big sunglasses and other trappings of the hipster lifestyle.

Hippie is a movement of the 60-s who wanted to return to the natural purity through love and pacifism. They wear jeans flared, with an abundance of pins, patches and cuts. They have a huge amount on the neck beads. Long hair drag striped fabric, the hair is not abating. And there is fennec everywhere. Hippie love all cellular, most chic - plaid shirt for a couple of sizes larger, and in winter - sweaters and painted cloth cloaks.

Punks. The punk subculture emerged in the England in the mid-1970s. Punks seek the way to outrage others with the using theatrical clothes. Torn clothes are held together by safety pins or wrapped with a tape. It is their style. Safety pins and razor blades are used as jewelry. Also leather, rubber, and vinyl clothe are popular. Some punks cut their hair into Mohawks or other dramatic shapes, style it to stand in spikes, and dye it with vibrant, unnatural hues.

Glam rock (also known as glitter rock ) is a style of rock and pop music that developed in the England in the early 1970s. They wear outrageous clothes. Both girls and boys have makeup and hairstyles. Particularly platform- soled boots and glitter are popular. A glam-rocker is often a man dressed in tight pants, a narrow-shirt, worn denim jacket and sneakers. There is a bouffant or a bandana on his head. Glam Rock.
