GENERAL PRESENTATION OF EUROPROJECT Participation in LLP projects ◊Food-Skills - (01/03/09-28/02/11) - LLP Leonardo Da Vinci - Main goal = adapt a recognition methodology of the non-formal and informal learning in the training strategies of the food sector in the European Union (with an online training). ◊Food-Fit - (01/03/ /02/11) - LLP Leonardo Da Vinci - Aim = develop methodological guidelines and recommendations to identify the sectorial qualifications (knowledge, skills and competences) for the agri-food sector in the EU, to facilitate the implementation of the EQF in member states. ◊EQF Spread - (01/03/ /02/12) - LLP Leonardo Da Vinci - The objective of EQF-SPREAD is to propose a methodology and a tool-set for the implementation and development of the EQF into the national and sectorial frameworks. ◊E-Viticlimate – (01/10/11-30/09/13) - LLP Leonardo Da VinciE-Viticlimate - This project aims at maintaining the diversity of the European vineyard faced with climate change challenges thanks to an innovative training of viticulture technicians and their trainers, for them to be able to adapt their practises and to maintain and exploit in the best conditions the European vineyard г. STAFF EXPERIENCE Consulting Competencies (staff) Mathilde Pavillon She graduated from ESCP-EAP European School of Management, a French leading Business School, with a double specialisation in Business Strategy and Finance. She has 4 year management experience; 5 years experience as a consultant in European RTD projects (FP7, LIFE+, studies) and educational initiatives (LLP Leonardo, Grundtvig, KA). Sirma Mitova She obtained a Master’s degree on European Politics and Administration at the College of Europe, Bruges with a special focus on European internal and foreign policy-making. Her previous experience in leading higher education and training centres gave her the necessary professionalism and expertise in the EU education and research policies. Her professional experience in the Bulgarian public sector provided her with a sound understanding of EU Structural Funds Programmes г. Presentation of EUROPROJECT

BRIC TOURISM IN BULGARIA - STATISTICS Brazilia – travellers in 2012 (27% increase from 2010 to 2011). Russia – 5 th country to send tourists in Bulgaria with approximately visitors per year. India – 45 th (4600 in 2012, +25%). China – 33 rd (8200 in 2012, +30% compared to 2011) In 2013, the first four countries tourists come from to Bulgaria are Romania, Greece, Turkey and Germany.

ADAPTATION TO BRIC TOURISM IN BG Languages : mostly Bulgarian and English/most professionals speak also Russian Food: No special food for non-European in hotels/menu adaptation to Russian tourists Marketing agencies: no brochures or campaigns for China, India and Brazil/marketing departments specialised in Russia Advertisement of Bulgaria abroad: Participation of the Ministry in many tourism fairs and exhibitions: 5 in Russia (Moscow, St Petersburg) 1 in New Dehli and Mumbai 1 in China (Beijing) Bulgarian Tourism Chamber – only Russian fairs Visa: Brazilians do not need/ all the rest do (special conditions for Russians)

PROFESSIONALS BRIC TOURISM AND CONCLUSIONS Priority: Russian tourism Professionals of tourism make efforts toward Russians in general: learn Russian, their culture and habits, food and specific needs. Almost nothing is done concerning the other BRIC countries. Russian travel agencies always offer trips in Bulgaria. Few tour operators come from China and India (possible future priority).
