Background Since 2002, our school has developed our school based curriculum.

Level : P.5 Text Type: Recipes Number of students involved: 20 Number of teachers involved: 4 Time: Saturday morning (9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) Brief Description: Teachers will explain the importance of balanced diet in daily life and steps in doing simple cooking. Students are required to create a recipe for the ‘Healthy Eating’ theme for the class party and produce a ‘Cooking Fun Show’ to record the process of cooking and to explain to others how to prepare healthy food for the party. Aim: Students can do simple cooking with their creative recipes so they can apply different generic skills, like reading skills, numeracy skills, problem-solving skills and collaboration skills to complete the task.
