MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST AND COUNSELOR

Mental Health Counselor  They have a master’s degree in counseling; the mental health counselor conducts all the assessment and will provide psychotherapy to the patients.  Many people attend this training and experience from the mental health related issues.  They also have the license from the state before starting their work as an independent mental health therapist.

Family and Marriage Therapist  The most common term used in the context of counseling. The master degree at the doctoral degree in the martial and the family therapy offers family and marriage therapists need to complete the two years of clinical training under the supervision of the experienced therapist.  The counselors are specialized in providing assessment and the psychotherapy for the existing psychological issues within the material and families relationships. They are also many black therapists they offer.

Social Worker  Many social workers who want to help the depressed people with their counseling, but not all then are trained for the same purpose.  Anyone having a bachelor’s degree in 4 years or the master degree, or a doctoral degree is allowed to work as a social worker.  Hence it is suggested that one should consult the service of the licensed social worker who has the letters of L.I.C.S.W or L.C.S.W with his or her qualifications.  They will provide you a variety of the services such as the assessment, case management and the psychotherapy.

Psychotherapist  Any person who offers the psychotherapy may be called as a psychotherapist.  There is no compulsion for the psycho- therapist How to obtain a formal degree in related discipline fixed number of months of training. You should be careful before consulting such a therapist.

Psychologist  Anyone who has the doctoral degree in the in psychology can be enthusiastic psychologist.  The Training is not obligatory for all of them. However, the clinical and counsel psychologists do obtain special training in mental health treatment.

School Psychologists  The school of psychologists requires having the master degree in the field. This will help to obtain a license issued by the particular state must for them.  The professional school psychologist can provide you the following aspect of behaving issues and also the mental health treatment.  They provide Consultation with the school system, Consultation with teachers, Consultation with parents, developing school-wide programs, Assessing academic skills, providing psychological counseling and after knowing more about the different therapists it will work easier to find the service of an appropriate counselor.

 It is the one of the most popular career in the field of the mental health is guidance counselors.  They will basically help you to assist kids during their growing up year.  They will ensure you that the therapy will help in professing both mentally and emotionally.  Many students can make their career decision making process. A master degree is required for this field.
