Dream Act Eligibility

AB2000 Expands students deemed eligible under AB540 as they can satisfy either of the following: High school attendance in California for three or more years, or Attainment of credits earned in CA from a CA high school, equivalent to 3 or more years of full-time high school coursework, and a total of 3 or more years of attendance in CA elementary or secondary schools (or a combination of those schools)

Dream Act Applicants Considered for Cal Grants if: Are graduating high school seniors Graduated high school in prior academic year Transferring from California Community College to a 4-year University Are enrolled in a technical or vocational program Considered for Middle Class Scholarship if: Attending a UC or CSU

Important Information for AB 540 Students Males 18 to 25 must register with Selective Service for Cal Grant and other state aid: BEST WAY TO REGISTER: Answer “Register me” on CA Dream Act question 23a OR: Get registration form at U.S. Post office, or download at Caldreamact.org Students will receive a registration number on the confirmation page of application
