If you do a “Key Word” search for ‘motor bikes’ you will get a response like this. This means that there were no matches for the term you were looking for “motor bikes”. You can now either ‘cancel’ your search and start over or you can ‘browse’ to see what wording in the computer is close to what you were looking for. By clicking on ’Browse’ you will get a screen that looks like... Try a keyword search for “motor bikes” and follow along.

This is what we were looking for. This is the closest alphabetical match in our computer for the term ‘motor bikes’.

Do we have any terms here that would be similar to “motor bike” that we can try? We certainly do! We could try any or all of these. Let’s pick one and search for it.

Let’s look at “motorcycle” and see what we have. This number tells us that we have 4 books with the phrase “motorcycle” somewhere in its record.

First we need to click on “motorcycle” so it is highlighted. Next we need to click on “Return Item” or we can press “Enter” on the keyboard and we will get...

We now click on “Search” or we can push “Enter” on the keyboard to get our results. This! “motorcycle” is now the term we are searching for.
