Nurse Practioners could cut costs for assessment & treatment of medical and psychiatric problems In DBH RNs cannot initiate treatment plans ADN nurses : – Head to Toe – Teach using protocols BSN nurses are – Trained in both Community and Psychiatric nursing & – Have Head to Toe Assessment skills – Trained to Educate Severely Mentally Ill consumers have a disparity in morbidity of 20 years earlier than the general population!!
