Robin Hood By Little Bennett

Once upon a time there was a man called Robin Hood. He lived in a den deep inside Sherwood Forest with his Merry Men.

Robin Hood had a green hat, a green coat and wore brown pants. The forest was green too. Robin Hood was an outlaw. He hid in the forest with his Merry Men.

Robin Hood was a good man. He took money from the rich men to give to the poor men.

The Sheriff of Nottingham lived in a big castle. He was very rich and had lots of money. The Sheriff of Nottingham did not like Robin Hood. Robin Hood was a good man. He took money from the rich men to give to the poor men.

One day the Sheriff of Nottingham sent his soldiers to look for Robin Hood. “Find Robin Hood and bring him to me” he said.

The soldiers went to the forest to look for Robin Hood. When they found him Robin Hood and his Merry Men had a big fight. to look for Robin Hood. “Find Robin Hood and bring him to me” he said.

The soldiers took one of the Merry Men back to the castle. The Sheriff of Nottingham was very happy. Robin Hood was sad and cross.

The Sheriff of Nottingham had an idea. He decided to have an archery competition. “If Robin Hood wins he can have his Merry Man back.” he said.

Robin Hood was very good at archery. He went to the castle with his Merry Men. The Sheriff shot one arrow, it missed.

Robin Hood shot one arrow, it hit the target. The Sheriff of Nottingham had to let the Merry Man go back to Robin Hood.

Robin Hood and his Merry Men went back to the forest very happy. The Sheriff of Nottingham was not happy. “I will get him next time” he said.
