STAR Experiment at RHIC The STAR detector (Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC) at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in Brookhaven National Laboratory (United States) is one of the premier particle detectors in the world. The STAR detector specializes in tracking the thousands of particles produced by each ion collision at RHIC. It is used to search for signatures of the form of matter that RHIC was designed to create: the quark- gluon plasma (QGP). NEC' 2015

STAR Experiment at RHIC NEC' 2015

STAR Experiment at RHIC 11 countries: Brazil, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, USA 56 institutes and universities - total 569 collaborators Students of these universities are actively involved in all stages of the experiment, and use the results of this work in the preparation of master's and PhD theses. NEC' 2015

The goals of the project To attract new students to this exciting research and the inclusion of the results of the STAR experiment in the educational process. То provide students from various universities of new educational resources appropriated to their level of education about various modern experiments, facilities and international collaborations. Тo create community of students from different countries and universities interested in working on this area of science, will form a community of learners and teachers. NEC' 2015
