I BELIEVE

EVERYONE BELIEVES SOMETHING. Evolution? The Da Vinci Code? Gospel of Judas? The Jesus Seminars? WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

I BELIEVE Jesus is the Son of God John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

I BELIEVE Jesus is the Son of God  He was born of a virgin (Luke 1:27)  He lived a sinless life (Heb. 4:15)  He performed miracles (Matt. Mark, Luke, John, Acts)  He gave His life as a ransom for sin (Matt. 20:28)  He was raised from the dead (Entire New Testament)  He is exalted at the right hand of the Father (1 Pet. 3:22)

I BELIEVE God Became Man John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I BELIEVE Jesus Died in My Place

I BELIEVE Jesus Died in My Place Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I BELIEVE Jesus Died in My Place Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

I BELIEVE Jesus Died in My Place o We all have done wrong, which breaks the law of God o The penalty for breaking God’s law is death o Jesus died to pay for my breaking God’s law

I BELIEVE Jesus Rose from the Dead  Mark 16:9-10 Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and weeping.

I BELIEVE Jesus Rose from the Dead  He was seen by Mary early Sunday morning (Mark 16:9-10)  He was seen by Peter and John the same day (John 20:2-6)  He was seen by the 11 disciples (John 20:19ff)  He was seen by 500 witnesses (1 Cor. 15:6)

I BELIEVE Jesus Prepared a Place for Me  John 14:2-3 NAU "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

I BELIEVE Jesus Prepared a Place for Me  A place to live eternally  That I might be where He is  He is waiting there for me  Loved ones are waiting with Him (1 Cor. 15:51-58)

I BELIEVE Jesus is Coming Again o The same way He went away o To take me to be with him (John 14:1-4) o He is coming very soon (Rev. 22:20) Acts 1:11 This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."
