P adre Father significa che siamo tutti suoi figli means that we are His children

Nostro Our di tutti noi che siamo per questo fratelli e sorelle of all of us who as a result are brothers and sisters

Che sei nei cieli in heaven, al di sopra delle nostre miserie terrene above our human miseries

sia santificato il tuo Nome; holy be your name, con lodi, glorificazioni e amore vicendevole through praises, glorifications and mutual love

venga il tuo regno; your kingdom come; già qui in terra attraverso la carità e la condivisione already present on earth through charitable love and sharing

sia fatta la tua volontà, and your will be done, accettando anche la sofferenza e osservando i suoi Comandamenti by even accepting suffering and by observing Your commandments

come in cielo così in terra. on earth as in heaven. come in Paradiso, così vivendo nel vero amore, anche in terra allow us to experience true love on earth as in Paradise,

aiutaci a procurarci il cibo e a dividerlo con chi non ne ha and help us obtain our sustenance and share it with those who have none Give us today the kind of bread we need. Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano, Give us today the kind of bread we need.

e rimetti a noi i nostri debiti Forgive us our debts perdona le nostre mancanze forgive our faults

just as we have forgiven those who are in debt to us. come noi li rimettiamo ai nostri debitori, just as we have forgiven those who are in debt to us. nella stessa misura che usiamo col nostro prossimo in the same measure that we forgive our brothers

e non ci indurre in tentazione, Do not bring us to the test aiutaci a non cedere alle tentazioni e all’ambiguità help us to yield not to temptations and ambiguity

ma liberaci dal male. but deliver us from the evil one. ma aiutaci a rifiutare e combattere il male con ogni mezzo. and not only to refuse but to fight evil with every mean.

Amen se prendiamo sul serio questa preghiera. if we take this prayer seriously.
