The Library Catalog The library catalog is a tool used to find information about books in the library. You may search for books by keyword, author, title, subject, or series. By using the catalog, you can find out if we have a book you are looking for and if it is available. If the book is not in your library, you can determine if it is available at another school and request the book be sent for you.

The Library Catalog Choose Library Resources/Research from the site shortcuts on the bottom of the Harrisburg School District webpage.

The Library Catalog Choose HSD Libraries (internal use only).

The Library Catalog Choose your school from the list.

The Library Catalog Click on the catalog tab at the top of the page.

The Library Catalog Enter your search term(s) in the Find box.

The Library Catalog Choose keyword, author, title, subject, or series.

The Library Catalog For example, if you were looking for I Spy books, you would type it in the find box then click on title.

The Library Catalog This screen shows the search results. It shows that this library owns four titles but not all of them are available.

The Library Catalog Click on the title for more information about the book.

The Library Catalog Click on the picture of the book to find additional information, including summary and reviews. This is called TitlePeek.

The Library Catalog This shows how many copies we have of the book and if they are available (checked in).

The Library Catalog The call number below the picture of the book is used to find the book on the shelf.
