Definition

Definition HDTV- High Definition TV SDTV- Standart Definition TV Current television systems are divided into 3 categories: SV Analog SV Analog-Digital SV Digital

Definition 1.HDTV- High Definition TV: What is HDTV? HDTV (high definition television) is a television display technology that provides picture quality similar to 35 mm. Movies with sound quality similar to that of today's compact disc. Some television stations have begun transmitting HDTV broadcasts to users on a limited number of channels. HDTV generally uses digital rather than analog signal transmission. However, in Japan, the first analog HDTV program was broadcast on June 3, The first image to appear was the Statue of Liberty and the New York Harbor. It required a 20 Mhz channel, which is why analog HDTV broadcasting is not feasible in most countries.

Definition 2.SDTV- Standard Definition TV: What is SDTV? Standard definition television (SDTV) is a digital television format that provides a picture quality similar to digital versatile disk. SDTV and high definition television are the two categories of display formats for digital television transmissions, which are becoming the standard. HDTV provides a higher quality display, with a vertical resolution display from 720p to 1080i and higher and an aspect ratio of 16:9, for a viewing experience similar to watching a movie. In comparison, SDTV has a range of lower resolutions and no defined aspect ratio. New television sets will be either HDTV-capable or SDTV-capable, with receivers that can convert the signal to their native display format. SDTV, in common with HDTV, uses the MPEG-2 file compression method.

Categories

1. Analog Video System: The original video recording method that stores continuous waves of red, green and blue intensities. In analog video, the number of rows is fixed. There are no real columns, and the maximum detail is determined by the frequency reponse of the analog system.

Categories 2. Analog-Digital Video System: Analog signals Continuous; Infinite range of values; More exact values, but more difficult to work with. Digital signals Discrete; Finite range of values; Not as exact as analog, but easier to work with.

Categories 3. Digital Video System: Digital Video Systems is a unique and highly diversified industry leader, providing clients innovative technology solutions for both land & sea. Since 1975, DVS has been leveraging its experience in thousands of successful projects in Broadband Communications, Systems Integration and Antenna Services to help large and small organizations develop a wide variety of solutions using the latest technology available..

Classification

Classification 1.In analog video systems: the emission transductors generates an analog electrical signal whose value varies continuous between two limits determined the minimum and maximum luminance corresponding object image captured. Processed and transmitted signal from this channel TV forms at reception, with help from signal traductors-image TV, TV image of the object Custom vintage analogue synthesiser system equipment. The Analogue Systems website contains details and instructions on the modules and complete vintage style synthesizer systems manufactured by Analogue Systems.

Classification 2. In analog-digital video systems: images obtained signal to electrical signal conversion is of a nature analogic. It is passed in digital format conversion using A-N the purpose of conservation, processing and transmission bandwidth communication channels high. Analog and digital signals are used to transmit information, usually through electric signals. In both these technologies, the information, such as any audio or video, is transformed into electric signals. The difference between analog and digital technologies is that in analog technology, information is translated into electric pulses of varying amplitude. In digital technology, translation of information is into binary format (zero or one) where each bit is representative of two distinct amplitudes.

Classification 3. In digital video systems: the signal obtained in the conversion step is digital. Transmission is all digitally and image formation is of course the digitall signal.

Components of a video system 1.Monitor : Consists of a group of closely-spaced horizontal lines; Each line consists of points; Each points consists of three luminescent phosphor dots.

Components of a video system 2.Attribute decoder: Attribute byte in text mode determines the characteristics of each displayed characters: BackgroundForeground BlackBlue01H BlueRed14H GreenCyan23H WhiteLight magneta7DH GreenGrayA8H
