How many killed Approximately 2,1 to 2,5 million people were killed in this camp.

What was it’s use? Auschwitz was a sub and extermination camp.

Facts Auschwitz was the largest camp made during the Holocaust. At first the inmates were only Polish, by April 1942, of the 27,000 inmates, 30 percent were Poles and 57 percent were Jews. When inmates arrived to Auschwitz they were marched or driven to the main camp where they were registered, tattooed, undressed, had their body hair shaven off, showered while their clothes were disinfected with Zyklon-B gas, and entered the camp under the infamous gateway. They found also 460 artificial limbs and seven tons of human hair shaved from Jews before they were murdered.
