Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design INTRODUCTION | 1 Research and trials show that the types of domestic spaces implemented with flexible and innovative components enlarged for a user, integrating solutions for the micro and medium mobility in-out connection with the urban space. The project will consist of several prototypes : | Housing | Furniture and components of completion such as | Electric Micro-car | Full integrated digital components to manage them (digital platform) ( to collaboration with School of Science and Technology | Università di Camerino )

Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design The project will conclude with the construction of experimental prototypes of both the domestic environment and its components, and a system of sustainable mobility, integrated and managed by a digital support platform. The role of design in this context is to give physical concreteness to a space and basic domestic components for ergonomic, functional and technological experimentation, integrated with digital systems, with flexible functions for the different needs of users. Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design SMART HOUSE| 1 The project involves the construction of an smart test house prototype. The typological housing system (47 metres sq.) is defined by four flexible spaces, governed by a system of mobile walls that can transform the environment from four traditional separate areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom), to an open space area that maintains a spatial continuity between all rooms. Intermediate solutions can create unique environments, such as a living room/kitchen area, bathroom and two separate bedrooms. Flexibility is an integral part of the digital control system, in accordance with the three levels of the components mentioned in the introduction (building enclosure, furniture and every day objects).

This always allows to have the maximum space to use. The wall is able to rotate and to extend itself, so it allows a different space’s division. Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design SMART MICRO MOBILITY | 1 The project involves the construction of an electric quad prototype. The prototype is part of the home system providing both Electricity Storage and Plug-In functions and place themselves seamlessly with the domestic space in ultra-low environmental impact. The project has also been developed for the testing of self-production of components covered by 3D printing. The prototype will be built on a steel frame and covered with components printed in 3D. The expected size will be 1640 mm x 1560 mm x 1555 mm, which can accommodate up to three users with an innovative solution for easy accessibility. Equipped with a user monitoring system that is directly connected to the home environment

Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design ORIGINAL AND INNOVATIVE ELEMENTS OF THE PROJECT Identification of an integrated project between the housing and mobility systems, linked by a common management platform. Specific terms for the smart house: Integration of digital management systems for changing the layout of the environment according to the needs of different users with various levels of ability, with system management at each level (building enclosure, environment, furniture, assistance) For the mobility product (smart car): Development of a vehicle with low environmental impact (electric) with easier accessibility, created with digital production (3D printing), equipped with a user monitoring system that is directly connected to the home environment.

Univeristà di Camerino SAD | Scuola di Architettura e Design “ E.Vittoria” | Area Design To create a flexible physical environment, able to integrate and implement with the testing of different intelligent systems, for the practical verification of prototypes which may over time constitute the system as a whole. To test the fast new prototyping techniques for products such as mobility systems (micro mobility) with a view to increasing the production of small and highly customisable objects. To create a domestic scenario in which design has the ability to draw together integration and incorporation by using both an interdisciplinary approach with the ITC scenarios and the physical-medical sciences. Results and Discussion The expected results of this project are configured with the following objectives: 1 2 3
