Genesis 6 and 8  Noahs story

God  God reveals himself in the story of Noah first off by talking to Noah and telling him of his plan to destroy pretty much all of his creation. In Genesis 6:8 it says, “13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

God  In this situation God is a friend and a protector. He is a friend to Noah since because he helps them survive and sticks with them through out all that happens to him. Also he is very much a protector of Noah since he gives them plenty warning of what was going to happen helps them stay safe through out the storms.

Human Characters  The human characters in this story are Noah, his family and all of the people in the surrounding community. They are all important parts of the story but the most irreplaceable person in the story is Noah. They all responded to God differently because f the levels of there familiarity with God. The people from the community responded very negatively to Gods calling to stop sinning. Noah was a very good receptive person of gods calling to help save himself, his family and all of Gods creation. I think that Noah's family responded probably the same as Noah but maybe not as good because they didnt get gods calling like Noah.

Foreshadow Thing  This situation foreshadows what god does through Jesus because of the way Jesus warns us of eternal death in hell if we don’t repent of our sins, same as God warns Noah of what was going to happen to the world. Also Jesus is a physical reminder and a symbol of Gods promise to come back and Noah and us get a rainbow to remind God of his promise to not flood the world.
