2. What were the results of the Bay of Pigs Invasion? The CIA- backed invaders were killed or jailed Kennedy was embarrassed It was a public relations triumph for Castro The U.S. pays ransom for the release of the invaders Bay of Pigs Invasion: An unsuccessful U.S./CIA invasion of Cuba in an attempt to oust Fidel Castro from power.
