Pesticide Use Web Mapping Application Joanna Nishimura Fall 2014

Purpose: To create a web mapping application that allows the user to calculate the amount of pesticides that were applied in a geographic area. The mapping application will include a geoprocessing tool that (1) allows the user to draw a polygon on a map, (2) allows the user to specify the parameters for and run a buffer on the drawn polygon, (3) selects sections that intersect the buffer zone, and (4) outputs the total pounds of pesticide that were applied in those selected sections. Purpose and Scope
