Hunedoara County School Inspectorate Part of Romanian Education System

History Hunedoara County School Inspectorate was founded in 1968, March 1 st. At that time there were: one general school inspector, two deputy general school inspectors, 24 speciality school inspectors, 2 school inspectors for pre-primary education, 2 school inspectors for primary education and 2 school inspectors for personnel. Since 1970 the School Inspectorate Statute has been observed and the Teacher Training Centre was founded as a subordinated institution. Hunedoara County School Inspectorate adress was G. Baritiu, nr. 2 the same location with Deva Pedagogic High-School and in 2007, January 1 st a new building was inaugurated which offers a generous space and equipment. 6/11/20163

MISSION The institution coordinates the way in which the material resources, as well as the methodological ones are used. The School Inspectorate through the personal development compartment organises and supervises the continuous training of the teachers, the scientific and pedagogic research and other adjacent actions. The speciality school inspectors draw up comparative analyses and syntheses on pedagogic methods and practice focusing on the teaching process. 6/11/20164 Hunedoara County School Inspectorate is a decentralized institution subordinated to the Ministry of Nationa Education. Its main objective is to monitorise the proper functioning and organising of the subordinated schools, according to the national education policy. Mission of Hunedoara County School Inspectorate is to develop the young generations through education and the development of an educational system built on values skills and responsibilities.

The school performances of the students in comparison to the national educational standards; The school’s methods to encourage and support students’ personal development; The quality of the teaching staff activities; The quality of the management and the efficiency in using the resources; The quality of the curriculum, the quality of the extra-curricular activities and the ability of the school to implement the national curriculum; School-parents relationship / School-local community relationship; Compliance with the in-force legislation, procedures, rules and regulations; Students’ attitudes towards the education offered by the school.
