Water, wind and sunlight are all flow resources, flow resources are part of the global commons. What are global commons? Global commons are resources that people share, but not all of the people have equal access to them Do you think flow resources will become are greater conflicts in the future?

Usually when people want to drink water, they turn on the tap or go to a fountain, for us it’s simple but for processing it into drinkable water is hard. Taps at home or at public places are connected to municipal water systems. They draw water from rivers, lakes and groundwater they are filtered into fresh drinkable water then it is piped into school and homes.etc In developing countries getting water is much more work since they don’t have companies that filter them. They use wells and sometimes directly from a river!

Canada has the fourth largest water supply behind Russia, USA, and brazil. For having such a big water supply it is hard for us to imagine not having a glass of water, washing or taking a shower whenever we want. However more than 750 million people don’t have access to water! CountryWater supply Brazil km3/yr Russia km3/yr USA km3/yr Canada km3/yr

In Delhi there is sometimes no access to clean water. Though Delhi is the largest city in India it still faces problems with accessing clean water. Some people who are not able to work end up living in slums. Slums are crowded areas with poor housing and no clean running water and electricity. There are no pipes in slums instead the government sends clean water to the people.

Problems in air quality is worldwide. Air pollution is caused when chemicals enter the atmosphere. Natural disasters such as volcano eruptions leave ash and pollute then atmosphere. Other factors that affect air quality are: Wind: wind carries and moves the pollution from place to place and spreads it around People: people often burn fossil fuels and use them. The fossil fuel gives out carbon dioxide and pollutes the air and atmosphere

Air pollution is dangerous for many reasons. Affecting people’s health, for example, the pollution in the air affects the health of a person’s lungs giving him lung cancer and endangering his life Vegetation absorb these harmful gases which pass them to any animal who eats them.

Governments can play a role to reduce air pollution. Governments ban spray products containing harmful chemicals. Now the amounts of these chemicals in the atmosphere are dropping
