Expectations Joint Action Plan and Position Paper addressed to EC and national governments: A shared assessment of the current market situation in 8+ countries, as well as strengths and weaknesses of national support frameworks and strategic options for improvement A clear commitment to national PV targets A joint Action Plan to improve and align activities for PV promotion in the particular countries A proposal to political decision-makers on how to improve and harmonise the current support framework for PV investments until 2010 and 2020 Promote that the only effective support scheme for PV is the feed in tariff. The key barriers for reaching 3GWp PV installed in 2010 are on the policy level, namely in insufficiently attractive, reliable and coherent national support schemes. PV Policy Group intends to close the gap between the current market situation and the political targets (3 GWp) by directly targeting national governments with a Joint Action Plan and Position Paper, so that an immediate impact can be expected.
