32 RE Series IT Racks Installation & Service Installation An installation guideline is included with each rack Racks and accessories are normally installed by the customer Some customers may ask for racks to be installed, and this can be quoted by the local countries or arranged by product management Service Currently no warranty extension or service contracts available Generally speaking, there is nothing to ‘go wrong’ with a rack, so no such service is likely needed

33 RE Series IT Racks Colocation Configuration The RE Series racks are not offered in multiple-compartment configurations Please inform product management when you receive such requests Background Co-location racks are IT racks divided into 2, 3 or even 4 compartments This is normally desired by co-location service providers who have small customers who do not need to rent a full rack.

34 RE Series IT Racks Seismic Racks – Earthquake Zones The RE Series is not seismic rated. Most of EMEA are not located in zones susceptible to Earthquakes. Eaton make NEB S Zone 4, seismic-grade racks (Eaton RP series racks manufactured in USA). We can discuss such special needs on a case-by- case basis.
