James 5:16-18 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

Elijah was a man just like us. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 12 However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The LORD will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; Deuteronomy 28:15-24

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. God doesn’t make people sick. Jesus healed all the people He encountered. Jesus suffered and died on the cross to restore the believer to righteousness, spirit, soul and body. To bring the Kingdom of Heaven’s reign into the life of the believer.

There’s Power in the Church to continue the work of Jesus on the earth The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 1 John 3:8 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.“ Matthew 16:18-19

Elijah prays for rain but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. "Go and look toward the sea," he told his servant. And he went up and looked. "There is nothing there," he said. Seven times Elijah said, "Go back." The seventh time the servant reported, "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea." So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, 'Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.'" Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel. 1 Kings 18:42-46

1 Corinthians 12: The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon- possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. Matthew 28:18-20 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name... they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." Mark 16:17-18
