Department of Family & Community Medicine Research Rotation Overview 2 week self-directed online curriculum for PGY-2s 3 supervisory faculty—3 scheduled meetings 5 research modules –Module I: Research Methods and Data Analysis –Module II: Article Review –Module III: Board Review –Module IV: Literature Search –Module V: Literature Review and Proposal

Department of Family & Community Medicine Research Rotation Evaluation All residents (18) who completed the rotation during a 24 month period were invited to complete an anonymous online survey to : –Assess the overall rotation –Assess the rotation’s success in achieving learning objectives –Assess impact of rotation on future participation in scholarly activities

Methods Anonymous Survey

Results 16 responses (89%) 69% (11) Overall Satisfied/Very Satisfied –No dissatisfied or very dissatisfied 81% (13) Satisfied/Very Satisfied with self- led/online structure
