Lesson 3-1 Example Example 1 Jaya rides her scooter 9 miles per hour. How many miles can she travel in 3 hours? 2.For every 1 hour traveled, Jaya rides 9 miles. So the number of miles traveled increases by 9 for each additional hour. The rule is to add 9 for each hour traveled.
