Distance, Rate, Time Independent station objectives: Title:D=RXT independent practice: I will copy and complete at least 10 problems showing each of my steps. If I am confused or unsure about any of the problems I will look in my notes to find ways to solve it. Then I will write down any ideas questions and notes I can ask my teacher at a later time. Title: D=RXT Vocabulary: When I finish ten problems, I will go to quizlet and copy my vocabulary in my notebook, after reading the definitions, I will study the vocabulary in quizlet: cards/ cards/ If I finish early, I will put away my computer, plug it in and in the correct order. I will begin looking over my work done so far, and double check my work. I can then study my vocabulary. After, I will take out my book and read.

Example problem #1 Liza wants to make it to the San Francisco in 6 hours. San Francisco is 360 miles away. How fast must she go? Make your table: R= D/T R= 360 miles / 6 hours R= 60 miles/hour Liza must go at a rate of 60 miles per hour
