Welcome to Parent Night Thank you for coming!

Thank you for Choosing Sacred Heart Opened in 1960 under the Irish Order of the Sisters of Mercy. Out of 29 schools in the Diocese of St. Augustine we are the 16 th oldest school currently open. Over 350 years of teaching experience!

Volunteer Hours All parents are required to give 10 volunteer hours per semester for a total of 20 hours per school year per family. The mandatory Carnival hours (2 per child-max. 4 hours) will be included in this requirement. Families who have not completed the Service Hour Requirement will be assessed $10 for each un-served hour by Dec. 15 th and April 30 th. There will be many opportunities for service hours. Please watch for updates on the website and letters home. Parents must have Protecting God’s Children ( and be fingerprinted to volunteer on campus. Please turn the form in on the last Wednesday of every month for tracking purposes. Protecting God’s Children on Saturday, September 6 th. 9:00am- 12:00pm

PE Uniform Change By January, please make sure that all PE shirts have a Sacred Heart Logo. Please, no more plain white T-shirts.

Further Uniform Changes More uniform changes will be coming next school year. You will have until the beginning of the 2017 school year to be in compliance with those new uniform policies. Policies may include: Required Sacred Heart logo on uniform shirts Possible switch to skorts for girls Boys may switch to khaki pants Plaid color will probably change Will speak with Home and School, School Board, Student Government, Teachers, Parents, and uniform companies throughout the process.

Updated Phone Number Please have an updated phone number in your student’s planner. Having an updated phone number allows Protective Care to contact families as quickly as possible. If you change your phone number or address please contact the front office in order to update your information.

Traffic Pattern

Please hang up your cellphones. Students should be wearing their seatbelts. Do not park in the very front of the school buildings, including the gym. No Parking
