Tolkien spoke at least 20 languages (paying special attention to dead languages like Old English, Medieval Welsh and Lombardic) and her invented many others

Published between Written by J.R.R Tolkien The Lord of the Ring Series is about the tale of many adventures in destroying a ring of power before evil can take over Middle Earth. The stories chronicle the lives of hobbit, dwarves, humans, and elves in a quest to save middle earth before evil can destroy everything they know in the world.

Written between Set in the fictional realm of Narnia, a fantasy world of magic, mythical beasts, and talking animals, the series narrates the adventures of various children who play central roles in the unfolding history of that world. Except in The Horse and His Boy, the protagonists are all children from the real world, magically transported to Narnia, where they are called upon by the lion Aslan to protect Narnia from evil and restore the throne to its rightful line.
