 What is filler machine  How it works and uses  Design new task for filler machine  The aim of project in mass production

 know and applying applications of mechatronics systems  New and different task by filler machine  Using PLC programming  Connecting PLC software and hardware with the mechanical systems

 There is many types for filler due to material being filled  Filling is consider one of important stages the needs control on its system, to control the quantity or mass or level or …………..etc.  Filling now a days is more advanced and complicated technology.

 Our project is how to fill a different size bottles with and control which tank to fill  The idea of project is there is a conveyer rolling on rollers by motor and there are to photo sensors setting one above the other  When only the lower sensor is detected it means the small bottles is passing throw  Then it means tank no1 is open to fill the bottle

 The idea of project is there is a conveyer rolling on rollers by motor and there are to photo sensors setting one above the other  When only the lower sensor is detected it means the small bottles is passing throw  Then it means tank no1 is open to fill the bottle  When the two sensors are detecting signal it means the large one is passing throw the conveyer the switch on the pump2 and fill from tank 2  Using plc internal timers to control the time of filling

 Conveyer : convert the motor rotation to move the bottles Conveyer  Motor : P rovide the movement of bottles  Pulley : transform the mechanical rotation from the motor to conveyor roller in a low speed Pulley  Pumps : convert the mechanical motion to draw the fluid power from tank then push it to filler tube Pumps :  Tanks: contains the liquid Tanks:  Filling tube : fill the bottles with liquid

 Photo sensors: to detect objects passing in front of it.  Relays : 1 - To protects PLC input and outputs ports 2 – Switch on-off the inputs and outputs  wires: To connect the devices.

 Is a digital computer used for automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines, amusement rides, or lighting fixtures.

 Using ladder diagram Using ladder diagram

 This prototype of filler is for controlling the tank with the level of bottles  In mass production it saves no. of production lines and saves time to change path of pipe lines manually from tanks to filler

 Advantages  Saving time  Saving no. of production lines  Saving spaces in company and factorys  Disadvantages  Its not suitable for mass production as they need individual production lines for each size to have large quantities of production
