S PECIAL N EEDS E DUCATION IN L UXEMBURG Integration in a traditional school is supported by the following services: Child Guidance Service is a consultation centre, which offers advice and assistance in the case of psychological, educational and/or schooling problems of children aged <12 SDIP (Service de Détection et d'Intervention Précoce): in charge of identifying children aged >12 with psychological or psychiatric disabilities, with the approval of the parents or guardian 20 multiprofessional ambulatory service teams: a classroom ‐ based pedagogical aid and assistance service. It is aimed at children with special education needs integrated into normal classes. SPOS (in every secondary school): in charge of finding out the best educational options and providing help for children with difficulties in following the mainstream curriculum (learning disabilities or psychological disabilities 7  Since 2011, new law: schools have to offer the same educational possibilities to pupils with psychological or physical disabilities
