9 Mar Munich Summit Brief4 U.S. GPS Policy: Goals Meet growing demands in national, homeland, economic security, scientific, and commercial uses –Space-based positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) Services U.S. space-based PNT services remain essential components of internationally accepted services Continue to provide civil PNT services that meet or exceed foreign civil space-based PNT services Provide uninterrupted access to U.S. space-based PNT services for U.S./allied nat’l security capabilities
